Does Squarespace support multiple locations on one map?
No — Squarespace's native Map Block is limited to a single location per block. To show multiple locations on one map you need the Advanced Map Block plugin, which pulls pins from a Gallery, Blog, or Events collection where each item's Location Tab is filled in, then displays them together.
The native limitation
Out of the box, Squarespace’s Map Block supports only one location, so a business with several stores, offices, or listings cannot plot them all on a single native map (Squarewebsites). The workaround for multiple locations is the Advanced Map Block plugin.
How the plugin handles multiple locations
Advanced Map Block displays multiple pins on one map by reading locations from a collection rather than a single address field (Squarewebsites). The flow is:
- Build a Gallery, Blog, or Events collection with one item per location.
- Fill in each item’s Location Tab.
- Add a Map Block, choose Use Collection Locations, and select that collection.
Each location then renders as its own pin, and you can pair the map with the Universal Filter plugin to let visitors search or filter the pins (Squarewebsites).
Plan and license
The plugin uses sitewide Code Injection, so it needs a Business or Commerce plan; Personal-plan sites can attempt a Markdown block workaround that may break (Squarewebsites). It is a one-time, per-website purchase, not a subscription (Squarewebsites).
