How do I show more than a few lines of text in Squarespace summary blocks?
Install Lazy Summaries. The default Squarespace Summary block caps at 30 items; Lazy Summaries raises that cap to 250 (marketed as "unlimited"), so the block can display far more entries in a single grid, carousel, or list. It controls how many summary items appear — not the length of each item's excerpt text.
Why the block looks short
The default Squarespace Summary block shows a maximum of 30 items, so a blog or store with more content appears truncated. Lazy Summaries raises that cap to 250 items (marketed as “unlimited”), letting one block display many more entries (Squarewebsites).
What it controls vs what it doesn’t
Lazy Summaries changes how many items appear, not the length of each item’s excerpt text. Excerpt text length is a separate native Summary block setting configured per block in the Squarespace editor.
Loading options
Choose “Load all” to display every item at once, or “Load More” to reveal items in batches via a button with custom text. Session-storage caching speeds up repeat visits within the same browser session (Squarewebsites).
